Given the growing interest and success of Metalsistems range of perforated plastic shelf panels, Metalsistem has designed a further version of these items designed for use within low temperature environments, such as cool rooms.

Denominated “Frost” version, these new plastic shelf panels are manufactured from specific materials and additives to achieve a higher grade of ductility and suppleness to make them suitable for use within cold temperatures, as it is well known that plastic materials tend to become fragile and subject to rupture when used within low temperature environments.

The new Frost version of the shelf panels is available for 320-400-500mm frame depths of the Super 1-2-3, Unirack and Superinox product series. They are manufactured in a light green colour for easy and immediate identification among the overall range of Metalsistem’s plastic shelf panels.

Their load capacity has been designed for 50 daN/shelf, valid for uniformly distributed loads. Frost shelf panels are compatible for use within the food sector.
