Cost-effective bulk solutions, the B2000 link-belt(r) trough idlers are the quality choice for conveying lighter duty materials such as agricultural, food product, chemicals and aggregates.
Belt idlers are available in diameters of 101 and 127mm to suit belt widths between 350 and 1050mm, suiting troughing angles of 20, 35 or 45 degrees.
Each idler incorporates an interferance-fit pressed head design which eliminates welding distortion and delivers very low 'Total indicator runout' values.
The B2000 idler utilizes a two-step system in preventing contaminants from entering the bearing cavity of the precision, 17mm deep groove ball bearing.
The first line of defence is a single lip, low- riction nitrile wiping seal that is protected by the cast ductile iron head.
The second line of defence is the factory installed contact seal on the ball bearing. The factory lubricated sealed ball bearing eliminates any need for lubrication and its associated costs.
Each roller is equipped with a solid C1018 carbon steel shaft for minimum defection under loads resulting in increased service life.
Precision machined heads, optimum bearing placement, accurate bearing alignment, and solid carbon steel shafting permit this design to exceed CEMA B load ratings.
The B2000 rollers and frames are protected from corrosion by a polymeric powder coating
