Applications
Designed for parking and access control applications this detector is commonly used to open or close boom gates, automatic doors or sliding gates.
Able to be configured for low power consumption, the LD106 can be used with solar power allowing it to operate in locations where power supply is limited or mains power is unavailable
The compact size of the LD106 loop detector allows it to be easily mounted in confined spaces.
Features
The LD106 is an ultra-low power single channel induction loop detector
The detector is connected to an inductive wire loop mounted in the road surface - when vehicles pass over the loop the detector switches an output
The detector consumes less than 2mA of current supply when there is no vehicle on the loop
A reset switch allows manual reset during commissioning and testing
Selectable pulse time sets how long the pulse relay will be energised - 0.1 or 0.2 seconds
Pulse relay configures when to energise - on vehicle detection or when the vehicle leaves the loop
Sensitivity boost sets the undetect level to maximum sensitivity to prevent loss of detection of high-bed vehicles
8 x switch selectable sensitivity settings are available providing flexible configuration
2 x switch selectable frequency settings are available to prevent cross-talk between adjacent loops
Filter option provides a delay between vehicle detection and switching of the output relay - usually used to prevent false detection of small or fast-moving objects
Benefits
Low Power option switches the detector to low power mode making it cost-efficient to run
Provides a high level of safety and security for even the fastest doors and parking boom gates
Microprocessor and surface mount technology allows a large number of functions to be incorporated into a small device
Eight sensitivity settings and automatic sensitivity boost offer the ability to detect small cars and high bed trucks
Permanent presence option ensures vehicle detection will be maintained when the vehicle is parked over the loop for extended periods.
Easily installed into small spaces.
