At LGPM, we offer Geelen Counterflow continuous dryers. The continuous dryer operates by pulling hot air through one or two commodity beds that are each variable in depth.
Our Benefits For Your Application
Compact and competitive
Excellent flexibility
Minimal maintenance
The fresh product is continuously fed through the inlet valve, while the discharger of the Swivel Valve ensures that the dried product is smoothly discharged to the next drying deck or into the hopper. By raising the product bed gently before discharging, bridging of the product bed is avoided. A level or temperature sensor activates the discharge mechanism and is operated by a hydraulic cylinder and power pack. Open and closed discharger positions may be changed by the controller or PLC, either manually or remotely. For optimum energy efficiency, the dryer air is partly recirculated back into the heater and only a small amount of air is exhausted at high relative humidity levels.
