With a weight of only 40 gr /1.4 oz and a minimal footprint of 50 x 45 x 16mm / 1.97 x 1.77 x 0.63 in, Datalogic’s HandScanner enables ergonomic work, providing workers with a comfortable and non-intrusive hands-free solution that facilitates their daily operations and integrates with their natural motions. Compared to traditional hand held scanners, the HandScanner achieves a weight savings of up to 1.5 tons per shift. The HandScanner instantly captures 1D/2D bar codes through a megapixel sensor and is available in two models: Standard Range –
designed for close range scanning between 10 to 80 cm / 0.39 to 3.15 in used mostly in Manufacturing, Retail and Healthcare applications; or Mid Range – from 30 to 150 cm / 1.18 to 5.9 in which covers a wide variety of uses in Warehouses, Plant floors, Docks, and Stock yards.

A fully charged HandScanner battery can last almost two working shifts, running up to 15 hours and 10,000 scans. With a 2 - slot charging station, the battery can be fully recharged in 2 hours.
