ASC Walk Behind Floor Scrubber | Eureka ...
The ASC Eureka E81's dual brush scrub deck and 825 mm cleaning path, when paired with its 4 km/h speed, allow it to cover 3.300 sq/m/h of area.
Robust thick steel is used to make its frame, which is sandblasted, zinc-phosphate coated, and thermo-hardened powder treated. When compared to a chassis treated using a conventional manner, this imparts higher durability that can last up to three times longer.
Models that are built around ASC Eureka's ECO technology may come equipped with the premium ECO system. The range is offered in TRAC configuration as well.
The patented ECO system, which breaks down obstacles to water economy and detergent savings, is a feature of the ECO configuration. It has earned multiple prizes, including the University of Padua's Veneto Sviluppo award. The system has a production rate that is three to five times higher than standard methods and is guaranteed to save a significant amount of labor, water, and detergent.
1. The ASC Eureka E81 is available with the following type of batteries:
4 x 6V gel batteries
4 x 6V standard batteries
And all machines are supplied with a comfortable, easy to use on-board battery charger.
2. Both scrubbers feature the possibility to adjust the brush pressure either at 40 kg or at 60 kg. For this reason, the machines can work on smooth floors where no abrasive action is required, as well as on rough surfaces.
Another very important feature is the self-adjusting splash-skirt which, besides preventing the dirty water from splashing also prevents water from leaking. Being in constant contact with the floor, the splash-skirt is one component most subject to wear, but Eureka’s skirt is self-levelling, to allow for excellent adherence to all floor types – whereas other competitor machines use a fixed rubber band, subject to water leaks when worn.
3. The drying system comprises a floor squeegee. Its shape is of significant importance as its primary function is to pick up dirty water with the aid of a vacuum motor. It is, in fact, when the drying takes place that work is optimized, as when one eliminates the soiled water all that is guaranteed to remain is a brilliantly clean and shiny surface.
We have equipped our scrubbers with an oscillating parabolic squeegee in order to better convey water to the centre of the machine even on sharp turns. The squeegee is tapered at the sides to increase air speed. Our innovation resides in a small air chamber which maximizes air velocity.
The squeegee is mounted on wheels and equipped with 2 knobs for the adjustment of incidence (angle of the squeegee) thus allowing equal pressure on the floor, and for the adjustment of pressure to the floor, both which can be optimized depending on the type of floor – be it uneven or smooth.
The squeegee can be rapidly released from its support without need of tools.
The blades are in linatex, which offer longer durability as they can be used on all 4 sides and have a higher grip on the floor for an impressive vacuuming performance.
In case of damage to the rubber blade, following a hit for instance, a standard scrubber would need a replacement, in our squeegee that is not necessary. Instead, you can continue to use it by turning the rubber 180 degrees and facing the damaged side up.
The squeegee is equipped with a quick release device which allows for a faster reversion/ replacement of the rubber blades.
4. The display is equipped with intuitive, simple to use one-touch controls. It includes the exclusive BRUSH O’MATIC system, which allows for a very fast and precise brush/pad replacement, without tools.
5. Safety is very important, and among other features designed to protect the operator, the machines are equipped with a “dead man” device which automatically pushes the scrubber forward in case the operator is trapped in a dead end.
6. The height of the handle bar can be adjusted for better operator comfort.
7. There are 2 tanks: the clean solution tank which contains fresh water plus detergent and the recovery tank which picks up dirty water, their capacity, in the ECO configuration, can be up to 300 litres.
The recovery tank can be totally opened for inspection and cleaning, while the solution tank is equipped with a steel filter to prevent the passage of debris into the tank.
The vacuum motor is protected by a patented device: a dust filter, class USGM, located within the recovery tank which protects the vacuum motor from dangerous debris and dust.
8. Designed around ASC Eureka’s ECO technology, these models can be supplied with the exclusive ECO system.
The recovery tank is equipped with a steel filter which allows the multiple use of water and detergent thus guaranteeing impressive labour, water and detergent savings, and boasts a productivity rate between 3 to 5 times greater than traditional systems.
This system makes maximum use of the water solution in order to increase the machine's production. When using a traditional machine, the operator must empty the recovery tank and replenish the solution tank with detergent and clean water when the solution in the clean water tank runs out. As a result, detergent, water, and time are wasted. Furthermore, it is very harmful to the natural system.
Here at Eureka, we provide a special technique to use water that will boost labor productivity that is lost when it comes to duties like emptying and replenishing. This enables you to reduce the amount of water and cleaning detergent that you need.
