Ansul | Fire fighting Foam Concentrates
ANSUL world-leading firefighting foam concentrates are backed by a 100-year legacy of proven quality and performance. All products are developed and tested at the ANSUL Fire Technology Center – one of the most extensive fire research and testing facilities in the world.
Fire fighting foam is an aggregate of gas-filled bubbles formed from aqueous solutions of specially formulated, liquid agent concentrates. The gas used is usually air but in some applications, it is inert gas.
ANSUL’s full range of environmentally-mindful C6-based foam concentrate products includes Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AFFF), Alcohol-Resistant Aqueous Film-Forming Foam (AR-AFFF), Class A, military-specification, high-expansion and flouroprotein concentrates.
Foam is lighter than flammable and combustible liquids so it floats on the fuel surface producing a continuous blanket that suppresses fire by separating flammable vapours and oxygen. As fuel is a water bearing material it also cools the surface.
ANSUL’s UL-listed and FM-approved foam concentrate products have been relied on to meet the most demanding challenges of industry and commerce, including high hazard/high risk markets such as aviation, chemical and petro-chemical, fire service and marine. Typical protected applications include flammable liquid storage tanks, aircraft hangars, truck loading racks and heliports. All of Ansul’s foam concentrate products are tested exhaustively with ANSUL industry-leading foam hardware products, ensuring optimal performance.
LPG Fire Australia is a certified and authorised ANSUL foam system distributor.
Our trained designers are ready to work with you to determine the best possible fixed foam system including foam concentrate, foam storage tanks, foam proportioning device and foam discharge device.
