Tru-Gard™ is part of the Tru-Bilt company - a multi-market leader and innovative designer of industrial safety products across Australia.

Established in 1993, Tru-Bilt Industries started out as a small construction company, designing and manufacturing industrial doors and docks for warehouses, cold stores, food industry sectors, and export companies. From there, strong demand grew for steel safety barriers to protect the high-end assets being installed both nationally and internationally. The Tru-Gard™ brand was launched and immediately took off in both New Zealand and Australia to become one of the leading brands of commercial and industrial safety equipment.

The Tru-Gard™ range of safety products started with barriers and bollards for the protection of pedestrian traffic and valuable building assets. Impact testing was conducted by independent engineers to validate the strength of the products, and both ranges were “certified” to meet AS/NZ structural standards. This accreditation provides solid peace of mind for Tru-Gard™ clients in all industries. The brand has continued to grow further with the introduction of handrail systems, personnel gates, pallet racking protectors, and other steel guards, such as column protectors and downpipe protectors. Continual R&D work is carried out to evaluate the demand for more safety protection equipment, with the building and testing of new prototypes being an on-going process.
