Trainees become certified in all basic life support techniques and skills required to provide emergency support to a casualty in the event of an emergency.

WorkCover Recognised Course

• The Course duration is approx 7 hours.
• The course requires that you complete some pre-course work based on the manual provded to you before the course date. You will need to bring this and the manual with you. There is an assessment test at the end of the course. Failure to complete the pre-course work will result in witholiding of your certification until completion.

Course Cost: $170.00 per person. Payable prior to issue of manual workbooks.

Pre-Course Work Must be Completed

Everyone will be sent a First Aid Manual with basic exercises that need to be done prior to attending the training. Training concludes with a practical/multiple choice test (as with other first aid courses).

The one day course we provide is not half of a course! Accordingly it is essential that all participants do the pre-course reading and exercises before attending. Without this being completed, no certificates will be issued.

Note that a good understanding of English is necessary to undertake the reading, and the pre-course work can take up to 8 hours, depending on prior knowledge and confidence.

Certificates expire after 3 years.
