IVECO Trucks Australia manufactures and distributes light, medium and heavy commercial vehicles for the Australian road transport industry. Formerly International Harvester and International Trucks, it has been part of Australia's way of life since 1903. IVECO Spa wholly owns IVECO Trucks Australia, part of the Fiat Group based in Turin, Italy. IVECO Australia manufacturing base is in Dandenong, Victoria. The Dandenong plant, which was commissioned in 1952, has produced more than 200,000 trucks.

Iveco Trucks Australia has been a success story since its formation in 2001. Iveco now manufactures Stralis, PowerStar and Acco ranges at its plant in Dandenong, Victoria, and imports Daily light commercials and Eurocargo medium-duty trucks from Iveco plants in Europe since 2002.

Compared with the 1159 trucks sold in 2001, Iveco's annual sales in Australia have increased by more than 240 per cent, with 2807 trucks sold in 2004.
