Situated in Narrabri, NSW, 600 km northwest of Sydney, Ray Faber Sheetmetal was established in 1984.
The modern workshop is conveniently located on the Newell Highway, which provides viable economic acccess to all Australian locations.
From a small shed the size of a suburban 2 car garage and one employee, the company has grown to 26 employees occupying 700 square metres of factory and a 200 square metre retail outlet.
This private company was established by Ray and Robyn Faber, initially as a sheetmetal jobbing shop, but has expanded to encompass light/medium engineering, replacement panels for cotton industry plant, heavy duty toolboxes and engineers supplies.
In 1993 Ray perceived a need for a tool, engineers' supply and welding equipment outlet to service Narrabri and the immediate northwestern area of NSW, which resulted in establishment of the retail outlet.
This small but well stocked shop offers a wide range of welding equipment and consumables, backed by the considerable expertise of Ray and his staff.
An Australian-Made Licensee since establishment, the company offers quality products and services, also trading as Faber Toolboxes and Faber Toolboxes and Welding Solutions.
An expanding network of resellers offers Faber Toolboxes Australia-wide whilst Ray can be seen regularly at major Field Days with his familiar 'pop-top' display trailer.
The main factory offers fabrication in steel, stainless steel and aluminium with specialised welding capabilities, and a well equipped machine shop
