Electric Motor Power Pty Ltd (EMP) is a wholly Australian owned company specialising in the design, development and production of a broad range of Permanent Magnet DC motors, of both brushed and brushless motors.

Operating since 1989 we pride ourselves on understanding our customer's requirements and establishing long-term relationships as your DC motor specialist.

Working with you from concept through to completion on new designs and projects, this also includes the supply and set-up of suitable motor controllers, gearboxes, brakes, joysticks, encoders and other items to meet your specific project requirements.

Our aim is to always provide our customers with top quality motion control solutions, either from stock or customised products, and can supply in any quantity, from one-off projects right through to large global customers, with well established production processes and machinery.

QUALITY
EMP is accredited in the Design and Manufacture of DC motors, certified to ISO9001 standards. We have on-site (Australian) production capabilities and ensure the use of known, quality suppliers for all of our parts. As part of our commitment to quality, each and every motor is thoroughly tested before it leaves our factory.

CUSTOMISATION
Our success has been largely built on our ability to understand the business application of our varied client base and to customise motors to suit specific needs accordingly.
We have capabilities to customize almost all aspects of the products, and can assist with large orders through to smaller one-off tasks across a wide variety of products and industries.

EFFICIENCY
We are always researching and evolving to ensure we continue to always provide an efficient product, to last longer and thus provide a cost benefit to you in the long-term.
Many of EMP's brushless motors achieve efficiencies between 90-92% making these items much more energy efficient than brushed motors and much more so than AC alternatives.
