Gates is a world leading manufacturer of hi-tech rubber belts and hoses for industrial, hydraulic, agricultural and automotive applications. Primary industries served by Gates: automotive light and heavy duty, manufacturing, transportation, agriculture, mining, construction, office equipment, computer technology, food processing and material handling markets.

Gates South Pacific started as an agency working from a one man office in 1980. The registered business name of Gates Australia was established in 1987 & operations began from a premise in Dandenong, Victoria, to serve the Australian & New Zealand region. The distribution centre outgrew the facility and has since operated from a new premise in Dandenong South. Today, approximately 18,000 lines are stocked in the warehouse with over $10 million worth of stock.

Industrial Belts: When asking for Gates V and synchronous belts, you will be served by competent and knowledgeable customer service personnel for complex issues. The most experienced engineering, customer service and field sales experts are available on request.

Gates new Poly Chain® GT® Carbon™ belt is part of a powerful synchronous belt drive system that outperforms roller chain in the most demanding high-torque applications.
