Indoor air quality checks provide information about whether employees are working in an agreeable climate in order to give top performance, and whether indoor air technology is used with as high a degree of energy economy as possible.
The new testo 435 provides the possibility of analysing indoor air quality and adjusting the indoor air technology.
Competence – compact and yet versatile
The new probe for indoor air quality (IAQ) measures the parameters CO2, % relative humidity and indoor air temperature, in order to evaluate indoor air quality. In addition to this, absolute pressure is also available.
An objective evaluation of the indoor air speed in the room is made using the turbulence probe. People react sensitively to draughts.
The new Lux probe measures the light conditions in the place of work and also the repetition frequency of screen monitors.
Dew-point exceedances and mould growth are examined with the surface probe and the air humidity probe.
Volume flow measurement
Temperature and humidity measurement are integrated in the new thermal probe. Flow speed, volume flow, air humidity and air temperature can thus be measured in one test run.
Different measurement principles can be used depending on flow speed and application:
- Hot wire probe (0 – 20 m/s) for precise measurement of low speeds;
- 16 mm vane probe (0.6 – 40 m/s) broad measuring range;
- 60 mm vane probe (0.25 – 20 m/s)
for integrating measurement, e.g. at ducts;
- intergrated differential pressure probe; simple Pitot tube measurement, ideal for high air speeds and impure air.
Comfort of use
Making use as simple and efficient as possible for the user is an emphasis with the new teato 435. The instruments can be switched over between user profiles, similarly to a mobile phone, for the applications channel measurement and IAQ measurement.

The most important funtion when checking indoor air quality is long-term measurement. Activation and parametering of the measurement program are reached directly via the function button.
Measurement reports
The measurement reports provide the customer with the data from channel measurement, long-term measurement and turbulence measurement. The company logo can be integrated into the the form.
Robust with protection class IP 54
The availability of measuring instruments is a deciding factor. The costs are huge if work cannot be continued because measuring instruments are not available. With the testo 435, Testo provides a robust and available instrument. A carrying strap enables safe transportation. Magnet ensure good handling during flow measurement.
The new testo 435 is available in four versions. Depending on the demands of the application, it is offered with or without built-in differential pressure measurement and instrument store, PC software and with different probes for different applications.
