Oystar A+F of Kirchlengern, Germany, have released two new innovations into the packaging technology market.
SETLINE Sleever
The established SETLINE multitask 'pick and place' sleever, now comes with a sorting function, ie. the ability to switch rapidly between formats, as well as handle smaller batches or assorted trays.
The requirement to meet specific demands for high flexibility was the catalyst for this innovative development.
The performance figures are also impressive and the unit it extremely flexible and can handle up to eight cup formats and up to 24 cup sets, as well as variable bottle formats.
The SETLINE can be integrated directly in line with a 'form-fill-seal' machine together with a 'tray packer or wrap around case packer'
TWINLINE 'Pick & Place'
Oystar A+F have also developed a new freestanding TWINLINE pick and place machine.
The TWINLINE machine is a fully automated, format flexible, cup or carton packaging system. It places product in trays or crates and can also operate as a stand-alone machine for collating, sorting of product. Capable of handling multiple formats, it can achieve a capacity of up to 16,000 cups per hour.
