MACA Engineering, of San Quiniono Italy, designs and manufacturers machinery for the assembly and cutting of aluminium and plastic caps (since 1987), have released their new generation Rotary Redrawing Machines for 2nd & 3rd draw incorporating 12 punches.
The High Speed RRM12
Rotary Redrawing Machine has 12 punches suitable for lengthening and trimming long and extra long caps starting from either first or second draw shell. The redrawing is made by 12 dies having an adjustable pneumatic drawing system. A cam with constant descent put into motion the redrawing control, which allows lengthening.
The caps are then discharge oriented, and the trim is ejected separately. The machine is capable of 42,000 pcs/hour.
The Medium Speed RRM6+6
Machine also have 12 punches, however 6 of the 12 dies perform the 2nd re-drawing operation and the other 6 perform the 3rd operation.
The output for this machine is 20,000 pcs/hour.
MACA Engineering is represented in Oceania by HBM Plastic Technologies.
