Profibus Training
Provided by Endress+Hauser Australia Pty. Ltd. 22/10/2008 - Certified Profibus training courses in Perth, Brisbane & Sydney commencing August 25
Two internationally recognised Profibus courses – Certified Installer Course and the Certified Engineers Course – will be conducted by Andy Verwer, Principal Lecturer, Department of Engineering and Technology at Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK. The 1 day Certified Profibus Installer Course is an internationally-accredited one-day course and covers the layout, installation and testing of Profibus DP and PA networks. Course intake is limited to 12 people per group and is suitable for all engineers and technicians involved in the planning and installation of fieldbus networks. The course focuses on Profibus and no previous knowledge of fieldbus systems is required. The 3.5 day Certified Profibus Engineers Course is an internationally accredited course covering PROFIBUS network design, commissioning and live fault-finding. The Certfied PROFIBUS Engineers Course is for engineers and technicians who already have a basic technical knowledge of PROFIBUS or other fieldbus systems. Completion of the Installer Course, or similar accredited course, is a pre-requisite. This hands-on course covers the detailed theory of PROFIBUS DP network operation. On the course, participants will learn first-hand how to design, install and troubleshoot PROFIBUS DP networks, how to use diagnostic tools to detect faults and identify their causes. The courses commence: Perth: 25 August, Brisbane: 1 September and Sydney 8 September.
